Instructors

Alberta Pipe Trades College instructional staff consists of sixteen (16) UA members with a combined total of over 320 years of field and teaching experience. Many of our instructors are multi ticketed and several of our instructors have B. Ed degrees. The amount of knowledge and experience that our instructional team has acquired, within the Piping Trades, is second to none. The instructors of Alberta Pipe Trades College are encouraged to continually upgrade their technical training and skills. It is very important to the success of the College that our instructors stay on top of industry standards. One very beneficial course our instructors are involved in is the UA five year instructors training program held annually in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This training program leads to a Certificate in Trade Instruction issued by the University of Michigan. Other teaching methods and instruction are also used as learning tools for our instructors, such as BMI or ‘Becoming a Master Instructor’.
