With Alberta’s economic growth and the health of our construction industry, demand for the trades that Local 488 represents is expected to be high for years to come. In recent times, demand has been so high that we've been 'short' by hundreds of members. That demand has moderated for the time being, but we anticipate that it will 'ramp up' in the near future.
